Sunburst Anthias

This Sunburst Anthias is vibrant in color and a peaceful tankmate. They can reach up to 4 inches in length. That being said the Anthias will need an aquarium of at least 70 gallons or more. Just like other types of Anthias they do better in groups consisting of one male and at least 3-4 females. There should not be more than one male unless you have a very large aquarium. When the male dies a female will morph and take the place of the male. Their diet consists of mysis, brines, shrimp, and high quality flakes and pellets. The Sunburst prefers lots of rockscape low in the tank where shade and hiding spots are provided and the water is slightly cooler.
