Yellow Longnose Butterflyfish (Forcipiger flavissimus)

The Yellow Longnose Butterfly is a peaceful fish. They can reach up to 9 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 125 gallons with plenty of rocks to pick. They are best in fish only systems as they are not considered reef safe. They may nip at soft corals and sessile inverts. Their diet consists of meaty foods and may take some high quality flake and pellet foods.
