Convict Tang (Acanthurus triostegus)

The Convict Tang is also known as the Convict Surgeonfish. They are a semi-aggressive fish. It can reach up to 8 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 125 gallons or more. This tang should not be placed with other tangs as they may be bullied. They can however be with other Convict Tangs if they are introduced into the aquarium at the same time. Their diet consists of marine algae, seaweed, veggies. they may take high quality flake and pellet food.
