This Sea cucumber is a efficient sand and detritus cleaners as well as a fascinating reef inhabitant.  This herbivore ingests sediments and eats diatoms, other microalgae and bacteria. A large tank of 75 gallons or larger is recommended. A sand bed is needed for good health.
