The Orange Spotted Filefish is also referred to as the Harlequin Filefish, Longnose filefish or Beaked Leatherjacket. These can reach up to 11 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 90 gallons and plenty of rock to hide in. They do best with peaceful fish and should be the only filefish in the aquarium unless it is a mated pair. They are not considered reef safe as they are known to nip at corals. This fish requires moderate care, and it is recommended for an advanced aquarist. The Orange Spotted Filefish should be fed with vitamin enriched foods, marine flakes, and pellets that help in maintaining the color of the body.
