Randall's Anthias Male (Pseudanthias randalli)

The Randall's Anthias is a peaceful fish. They can reach up to 3 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 70 gallons if single kept or 120 if kept in a small group with plenty of room to swim but ample places to hide. This fish likes to swim near the bottom. Males should be kept alone or with several females. Like other Anthias if the male dies a female in the group will morph into a male and take over the group. Their diet consists of mysis, brines, and other meaty foods. They should be fed 2-3 times a day in small amounts. Having a supply of copepods and amphipods will help as well.
