Aquacultured corals are live corals that have been grown in a captive environment, outside of the natural reef. Most of these corals have many been grown in captivity for many generations at this point, and they help to sustain our beautiful oceans from ongoing harvesting. Aquacultured corals are typically more hardy and easier to keep in the home reef aquarium than wild caught counterparts because they have been acclimated to artificial lighting and flow their entire life.
