Whipfin Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus fialmentosus)

The Whipfin Fairy Wrasse, also known as the Filamented Flasher Wrasse, is a small but hardy fish. It is typically peaceful, but the male species may be aggressive towards other fairy wrasses. As the Whip Fin Fairy Wrasse matures the colors become more striking. The dorsal area is bright red accented by a white belly. The fin colorations will range from yellows to blues. A 55 gallon or larger aquarium with a shaded area is recommended. This fairy wrasse will not bother fish or invertebrates. These fish like to jump, so a tight-fitting canopy is recommended.
