The Violet Eye Swimming Crab is a small crab found in the indo-pacific. It will eat falling food off as well as detritus throughout the tank. This crab is specially adapted to swim away from danger and can be found anywhere in the tank including near the top. A covered top might be a good idea to help keep this crab contained within the aquarium. Although this crab was originally identified in the 1800s, not much is known about the species.
