The Tomiyama Shrimp Goby Tomiyamichthys oni is a fascinating reef fish. They are white with splashes of brown. These are a very peaceful fish and tends to be peaceful to other small gobies. This is another type of shrimp goby and will pair up with a pistol shrimp. The shrimp usually staying in their burrow and looking for food while the goby protects and will alert the shrimp if there is incoming danger. They can reach up to 4 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 50 gallons with plenty of rock to hide. Their diet consists of mysis, brine, and other meaty food. The Tomiyama will also take marine algae and high quality flake and pellet food.
