The Emperor Snapper is also referred to as Sabae Snapper or Red Emperor Snapper.  A fast growing fish reaching up to 30 inches with a live span of 10-20 years. They are fast and powerful swimmers requiring a covered aquarium of 300 gallons, when fully grown.  The current juvenile coloring pf red and white will change to a reddish-pink body.  Their diet will include meaty foods.
