The Black Leopard Wrasse, also known as Leopard Wrasse or Yellow Spotted Wrasse, has a dark body with light blue to yellowish spots. The dorsal fin has black and white diagonal stripes, and it may have red highlights on the tail and head. They can reach at least 4 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 90 gallons with a 2-3 soft substrate for sleeping and hiding. A tight fitted lid will be required as they are known jumpers. They are reef safe and will not bother any inverts or corals. Their diet consists of mysis, brine, and other meaty food.
