Salty Underground strives to bring you the highest quality live corals for sale. We have many LPS, soft corals, rare corals, coral frags, and the very colorful SPS corals for sale. Also available for sale are aquacultured corals which are more often hardier and more successful in the home reef aquariums. Since these live corals are aquacultured corals, they have no impact on our natural reef systems around the world.

On a budget? Get free shipping on your coral order in the U.S. with orders of $75 or more. Add the Saturday Residential Delivery surcharge if you want delivery to your home address on Saturday. Some rural areas do not have Saturday delivery as an option. Contact us if you live in a rural area to verify Saturday delivery.
If you pick up your coral order at a UPS location on Saturday this charge is not required. Just let us know the UPS Access Point you would like to use. Saturday pickup at a UPS location costs the same as delivery during the week.

Many of our corals for sale are WYSIWYG. This stands for "What You See Is What You Get". If you purchase one of these live corals for sale, you will receive the actual coral for sale in the photo. For those corals that do not say WYSIWYG, the photos are representative of the species, size and color of the coral for sale you will receive. This is most common when we have a great deal of the same live coral, such as the Star Polyps coral. In most cases the corals for sale in the photo and the coral you buy and are from the same mother coral colony. Read the item description for the size of the coral for sale and more information on how to care for that live coral.

  • Soft Corals

    Soft corals have a soft internal fleshy / woody skeleton and are usually a great beginner coral to buy. Many of these soft corals can tolerant a variety aquarium conditions and can be a good place to start when moving from a fish only to a reef aquarium.

  • LPS Corals

    The LPS corals are generally larger calcareous corals than SPS coral and usually have a much larger fleshy polyp. Many LPS corals are hardy, easy to keep, and can even be fast growing. They will usually require less intense lighting and a lower water movement than SPS coral. Many LPS are excellent beginner coral!

  • SPS Corals

    The Small Polyped Stony corals (SPS) have small polyps on a calcareouss skeleton which can be either branching or plated. SPS are coral which are usually more difficult to keep than the LPS or soft corals and should not be considered a beginner coral.

  • Mushroom Corals

    Mushrooms corals are a wonderful and colorful addition to coral reef aquariums. Mushrooms corals are usually easy to keep and grow at a faster pace than many other corals. Mushroom corals are quite often very affordable.

  • Zoanthid and Polyp Corals

    Zoanthids, Palyothoa and other polyp corals offer a huge variety of colors and patterns. Most of these corals are very affordbale and easy to keep in a reef aquarium.

  • Aquacultured Corals

    Aquacultured corals are live corals that have been grown in a captive environment. Many of these corals have many generations between them and their wild mother colony. Aquacultured corals are hardier and typically easier to keep in the home reef aquarium than their wild caught counterparts.
