The Red Tile Starfish like most Starfish are very sensitive to changes in water quality and conditions. Like most stars these are scavengers and will eat leftover food, and tiny organisms in and on the substrate and rockwork, algae. Starfish benefit from getting algae pellets and meaty foods once in a while. They are sensitive to copper based medications. They should be drip acclimated for at least 1.25 hours.
