The Red Fromia Starfish is one of the hardest of the starfish family. Like other starfish they are still quite sensitive to changes in the PH, temperature, and salinity changes. Fromia requires a longer and slower acclimation period being introduced to the aquarium. This starfish consumes microorganisms and an almost invisible film algae. Due to this , they should be introduced to only established aquariums. These stars are pretty small and are better for smaller aquariums.
