Hi-Hat Drum (Equetus acuminatus)

The Hi Hat is a peaceful fish. It can reach up to 9 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 90 gallons. They will require a peaceful community with a sandy bottom, and an abundant hiding places. They tend to hide until they feel secure. The Hi Hate's diet should consist of live black worms, brine shrimp, and other meaty food to draw them out. This fish is not completely reef safe as they may search the sand looking for crustaceans, small fish, and may eat fireworms.
