Pink Sea Urchin (Lytechinus variegatus)

 Like other urchins do not be surprised if you see debris and shells being carried on their spines. They use them to camouflage themselves from predators. Urchins need plenty of rock and sand to use for shelter and to graze on. In large systems you can keep more than one. Their main source of food is algae, but they may take some meaty foods. They are sensitive to copper-based medications.
