The Lobophyllia Brain Coral is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral often referred to as a Lobo, Open Brain Coral, and Meat Coral. It has fleshy polyps that hide its calcareous skeleton. Due to its hardiness it makes an excellent coral for the beginning through expert reef aquarist.
