Purple & Green Echinata

The Acan Echinata (Acanthastrea echinata) is a colorful large polyp stony (LPS) coral. The colors range wildly from intense oranges, green, blues and nearly every color in between or all! These corals have been propagated in captivity with great success, leading to these variety of colors. The Acan Echinata is one of the easiest of the LPS (large polyp stony) corals to care for. They are an easier coral to grow. A slower water movement and low to moderate lighting are optimal to thrive.
